Police in Moscow detained a person suspected of issuing bank cards to non-existent foreign citizens. This was reported by Irina Volk, representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

According to him, more than 700 fake passports and immigration cards of the detainee were seized. According to preliminary information, the attacker took foreigners’ passports from his accomplice and transferred them to bank branches in Moscow to issue bank cards. However, the persons in whose names the documents were issued are not available.

Volk noted that expired cards were transferred to third parties to receive and withdraw money for illegal banking transactions.
