Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the country’s army is focusing on domestic industrial products and purchasing multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), warplanes and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported by RIA News.
Vucic emphasized that he planned to discuss the purchase of a large number of Rafale fighter jets with French President Emmanuel Macron during the meeting.
The Serbian President emphasized that in addition to the purchase of 12 new aircraft, we will also discuss the purchase of 12 second-hand Rafale fighter jets from another country.
He emphasized that Belgrade relies primarily on domestic production and industry, and that they will focus on work on unmanned land platforms and UAVs in the near future.
According to Vucic, Serbia has already purchased several dozen MLRS systems and they should be delivered soon.
