“But this only applies to a very small group of people who are already in the pre-dialysis phase,” the doctor emphasized.

For healthy people or those without serious kidney damage, a vegetarian diet does not provide much benefit. Some vegetarians report improved digestion. This is because animal protein is a very dense food and can cause a feeling of heaviness in the stomach.
