The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) will end cooperation with approximately 500 experts with ties to Russia at the end of November. This was stated by CERN official representative Arnaud Marsollier. RIA News.
According to him, CERN currently has fewer than 500 users affiliated with any Russian organization. Marsollier noted that most of them do not live in Switzerland.
“The suspension of the cooperation agreement will come into force on November 30 this year,” he said.
A representative of the organization reminded that CERN does not receive any funding from Russia and is preparing for other groups to take part in the Large Hadron Collider in the future.
