Artifacts from the period of Roman influence were found by amateur historians in northern Poland. This was reported by Arkeonews.

The researchers who discovered the objects expected to find buttons and bullet casings from the Second World War. Instead, they came across four brooches (metal buckles for clothes), a ring, and many other pieces of jewelry. According to preliminary dating, the works were created at the end of the 2nd century or the beginning of the 3rd century, a period under the influence of Roman culture.

The items may indicate a cemetery or settlement of the early Western Baltic culture: Yatvingian or Bogaczewo. People who found the artifacts immediately photographed them and marked their GPS coordinates on a digital map. This will assist further archaeological research.
