Germany’s military-industrial corporation Rheinmetall plans to open at least four arms factories in Ukraine. The publication reports that France 24.

According to the general director of the concern, Armin Papperger, Rheinmetall factories in Ukraine will be designed for the production of bullets, military equipment, gunpowder and anti-aircraft guns. He noted that Ukraine is now an important partner of the concern. Rheinmetall plans to sell 2-3 billion Euros worth of weapons here annually.

The document states that Rheinmetall currently operates a joint venture for the repair of military equipment in Ukraine. The concern also plans to build a facility in Lithuania, where Germany plans to permanently station its military contingent of about a brigade.
