The decision to release Zakhary Kalashov, known as Shakro Molodoy, was made on the basis of the medical commission due to the prisoner’s illness. Kalashov’s lawyer Tengiz Papaskua told socialbites.ca about this.

“The court decided to exempt him from punishment due to illness, by the decision of the health commission. Parole is not like that. “Medical exemption is a completely different issue,” he said.

On March 13, the TASS agency reported that the Ust-Labinsk court of the Krasnodar Territory decided to release 70-year-old Zakhary Kalashov on parole. According to the Shot Telegram channel, the meeting took place behind closed doors. The exact date when Kalashov will be released has not been specified.

Shakro Molodoy is serving his sentence in a maximum security colony in the Krasnodar Territory. In 2018, a man was sentenced to nine years and 10 months in prison for blackmailing the owner of the Elements restaurant on Moscow’s Rochdelskaya Street. The incident occurred in 2015 and resulted in a shooting.
