Russian warplane prevented French planes from violating the border

A Russian Su-27 fighter jet escorted a group of French military aircraft over the Black Sea, preventing an airborne violation of the Russian border. This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“The Su-27 VKS fighter jet took off when three air targets were detected over the Black Sea, accompanied by an E-3F aircraft of the French Aerospace Forces and two Rafal-S fighter jets,” the Ministry of Defense said.

It was also noted that no border violations occurred as a result of the Russian pilot’s efforts.

Before that Russian air defense systems (air defense) was shot Ukrainian Mig-29 fighter jet in the sky over the Nikolaev region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also said that four projectiles from HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and more than a hundred unmanned aerial vehicles were captured in the combat zone in the last 24 hours.
