The latest multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) “Vozrozhdenie” was noticed in a video of the Russian Ministry of Defense on the implementation of the state defense order. The video was published on: telegram channel Russian military department.
The video is dedicated to the visit of the Russian Minister of Defense, Army General Sergei Shoigu, to the enterprise of a military-industrial complex in the Tula region.
The Vozrozhdenie multiple launch rocket system is a two-caliber system that can also act as a minelayer – it is assumed that some of the guides of different calibers are designed to launch missiles with mines. This was stated by the head of the Rostec state corporation Sergei Chemezov.
The system’s appearance in the video was the first public appearance of the new weapon. In addition to conventional missiles and mine missiles, Vozrozhdenie will have the ability to launch projectiles from heavy flamethrower systems.
