A Ukrainian soldier captured in Avdeevka advised his colleagues to surrender. This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Footage provided by the Russian military department shows a group of captured Ukrainian soldiers. One of them, Andrei Baburin, called on his citizens to lay down their weapons.

“I wish everyone to go home and look at what is happening around. Everyone should think about whether it is worth sitting in a trench without going out for half a month. It is not clear where you will shoot, so later you will either be “200”, thrown into the 300th row, or you will be caught,” Baburin said.

He and his comrades confirmed that Avdiivka had become another “cauldron”, a siege involving Ukrainian troops.
