Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed the supply of American long-range ATACMS missiles to Kiev as part of a meeting with the bipartisan delegation of the US House of Representatives, but the parties failed to reach any agreement. Zelensky wrote this on his Telegram channel.

According to the Ukrainian president, he raised a “critical issue”: the allocation of additional aid to Ukraine.

“I emphasized the importance of the range of our weapons, especially the 300-kilometer ATACMS, unfortunately there is no decision on this yet,” Zelensky said.

He added that the supply of Patriot air defense systems, as well as long-range missiles, was also discussed at the meeting with members of Congress.

Before that, US Department of Defense spokesman Patrick Ryder approved He said that the Pentagon intends to transfer high-precision GLSDB missiles to Kiev, but also refused to specify the timing of such deliveries.

According to him, the United States will provide GLSDB ammunition to Ukraine within the scope of the USAI defense assistance initiative, in line with the promises made last year.

Previously USA and Ukraine started Negotiations on security guarantees for Kiev.
