International journalist, candidate of historical sciences Sergei Latyshev is on the air Tsargrad.tv He listed three possible reasons for the crash of the Russian military transport aircraft Il-76 in the Belgorod region. The first of these, in his opinion, may be a banal error in the calculations of Ukrainian air defense (air defense).
The second scenario, according to the expert, could be behind-the-scenes conflicts among Kiev elites and different ideas about how the Ukrainian crisis should end.
“There is someone there working for London, for example Zelensky and Ermak. Someone is in Washington, this is the army elite led by Zaluzhny. And they don’t live very friendly. Yes, they are united against Russia, but they have big, big questions among themselves and each other about tactics,” Latyshev said.
The third reason, in his opinion, may be an attempt to intimidate Ukrainian military personnel so that they do not surrender in the future. The journalist emphasized that whatever the reasons, Kiev committed a serious crime.
The Il-76 crash occurred on the morning of January 24 near the village of Yablonovo in the Belgorod region. The plane was supposed to transport captured Ukrainian military personnel to the administrative center of the region. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of 65 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, six crew members and three escorts were on board the ship.
