Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, said that an ice melt will come in Central Russia and will last until Friday. Transfers the forecast RIA News.

According to Vilfand, on February 1 in Moscow the temperature will rise to +3°C, which corresponds to the norms in the second half of March. The forecaster explained that this was because warm air masses from the Atlantic were now “cutting off” the cold flows from the Arctic Ocean.

The meteorologist stated that the temperature in the Moscow region will reach +4°C.

According to Vilfand’s forecast, the night temperature on February 3 will be between -6°C and -1°C, and the daytime temperature will be between -3°C and -5°C. He said this weather is very comfortable as the temperature will be close to normal.
