LabPyme is celebrating the resounding success of its cutting-edge program in digital skills, which is a key part of the innovative “Digital SME Manufacturing” project supported by the School of Industrial Organization EOI. Eight months after its launch, the program has left an impressive mark on the digital transformation of SMEs in Castilla-La Mancha and the Valencian Community.

Since its founding, LabPyme has successfully launched 3 calls with a total of seven versions of the program in various cities including Alicante, Albacete, Valencia and Ciudad Real. These editions trained more than 100 managers from 79 different SMEs, making a tangible impact on the digital transformation of these companies.

Funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU and managed by the EOI Foundation, the program is designed specifically for managers of SMEs with 10 to 249 employees. LabPyme, a project supported by UCAM, Verne Academy, Tecon and Aquora, has created a comprehensive approach combining experience, applicable technology and executive training to meet the real needs of SMEs in this digital transformation process.

The main purpose of the program is to train managers and directors of SMEs free of charge and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to lead digital transformation in their companies. LabPyme is proud to announce that participants have so far successfully developed their company’s “Digital Transformation Plan” during the program.

Additionally, LabPyme stands out by offering participants the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the latest technological developments. Throughout the program, managers have access to hands-on experiences and first-hand learning on current topics such as virtual reality, task automation and artificial intelligence. This intensive experience not only broadens their knowledge, but also provides them with the essential tools to implement innovative solutions within their own companies, thereby setting the standard at the forefront of digital transformation.

LabPyme will begin an ambitious expansion program from January 2024, launching the first call with a total of 11 releases planned in cities such as Toledo, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Alicante, Elche, Benissa, IBI, Alcoy, Valencia and Castellón. This expansion demonstrates the increasing demand and effectiveness of the program in different regions.

The project included significant improvements such as initial diagnosis and psychometric assessment as well as strategic thinking to more accurately determine the potential characteristics of the participants. In addition, elements such as Change Management, Learnability and Employee Experience were integrated into the training plan to further improve the participants’ experiences.

Managers participating in the program will also benefit from individualized mentoring, providing personalized guidance to accelerate the integration of culture and talent projects into the digitalization process throughout the entire program. Supporting companies confirm: “Our alliance aims to strengthen the resolve of SMEs and to face this process with a vision that is measurable, grounded and adapted to their reality.”

LabPyme is committed to promoting digital transformation in the business structure of Castilla-La Mancha and the Valencian Community and providing SMEs with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in an ever-evolving digital environment. With the success of previous editions and planned expansion, LabPyme demonstrates its leadership position in educating managers to face the challenges of the digital age.
