National Police agents arrested two people in Alicante for alleged crimes. supporting document forgery, fraud and illegal immigration for sale fake asylum and residence cards.
The police investigation began after a person was arrested for allegedly committing document forgery. There was a surprise in Madrid In Spain with a fake asylum card. This man told agents that the card was given to him by another person and he was charged. 630 euros for this.
Given these events, an investigation was launched by the National Police with the aim of finding out who was behind the falsification and sale of these documents, and after several police efforts, it was determined that the person selling the documents was a man of Colombian nationality residing in Alicante. This person was given a fake asylum card.
The investigation was taken over by National Police agents assigned to the 3rd Group of the Unit Against Immigration and Document Fraud Networks (UCRIF) of the Alicante Provincial Police Station, and after several investigations located the man who gave the ID card. The man detained in Madrid was granted asylum, but he was also arrested by the agents.
The National Police confirmed during the investigation that there were two other people involved; One acted as an intermediary and the other as a supplier of fake documents, and they communicated through a private chat on a well-known social network.
The vehicle was finally identified; This person, the brother of the detainee in Alicante, had apparently obtained at least three other false documents: two asylum cards and a residence card for which he had paid. 1,200 Euros and 1,000 Euros respectivelyHe had sold one of the asylum cards to another person under investigation for around 600 euros.
In the end both men I am 26 and 39 years old and Colombian nationals were detained by agents for allegedly committing the crimes of document forgery, fraud, and promoting illegal immigration by buying and selling fake asylum and residence cards.
The agents continued the investigation to find those involved in the incident and sent all the proceedings to the Court of Investigation in Alicante.
