The Ukrainian consulate in England has requested citizens to register for military service in connection with the possible tightening of mobilization rules in their homeland. The diplomatic department wrote about this on its Telegram channel.
The Consulate noted that they received many requests from Ukrainian men regarding the new mobilization bill. Citizens were reassured: for now, they still have access to consular services. However, diplomats also reminded that men must register for military service at the consulate if they leave Ukraine for more than three months.
The diplomatic department explained that it is the consulate’s responsibility to maintain data on men of military age, including conscripts, military personnel and reservists.
