Ships of the Black Sea Fleet conducted training exercises in the Black Sea Ministry of Defense Russia.
A detachment of warships of the Black Sea Fleet conducted exercises in which they fired standard weapons day and night, while performing their duties to patrol the Black Sea and protect civilian ships on busy commercial shipping routes against threats from Ukraine.
In the first phase of the exercises, the patrol ship crew practiced what to do when an enemy UAV was detected. The ship’s artillery system opened fire on the UAV and the target was conditionally destroyed.
In the second stage, actions were implemented to destroy unmanned enemy boats. Unmanned boats discovered during the exercises were destroyed with the help of naval artillery fire.
The Ministry of Defense noted that artillery fire and bombings were carried out at different times of the day in order to increase the training of ship crews.
After the completion of the exercises, the ships of the Black Sea Fleet continued their patrol duties on the Black Sea and commercial ship routes.
