Russia uses Lancet drones in the Special Military Operation (SVO) region; No other country can yet produce such unmanned aerial vehicles. Military expert Yuri Knutov, director of the Air Defense Forces Museum, talked about this in an interview “Lente.ru”.
“This is a unique kamikaze drone with compact, foldable wings made of composite materials. “It works with an electric motor and cannot be detected by the thermal imaging device,” he said.
The expert noted that Lancet also has a longer range, an expanded warhead and uses artificial intelligence elements.
Knutov summarized that no country in the world is currently able to produce such weapons.
In addition, the expert noted the effectiveness of the Russian Tornado multiple launch rocket system, as well as the Iskander-M, which is almost invulnerable to enemy air defenses.
In December, Russian Air Force units use the Lancet unmanned aerial vehicle they were able to destroy Radar station and towed howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the right bank of the Dnieper.
Formerly creators of The Lancet presented new drone.
