International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi is expected to visit Russia in 2024. In this respect RIA News said Mikhail Ulyanov, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation in international organizations in Vienna.
According to him, the exact date will depend on the readiness of the parties who maintain “fairly close dialogue”.
Ulyanov recalled that the IAEA chief visited Russia several times in 2022 and 2023, primarily to participate in consultations with Russia’s inter-ministerial delegation on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
“I think he will most likely visit Russia in 2024. “There is no complete clarity on this issue yet,” he said.
