State Duma proposes fines for discarded pets

First Deputy Chairman of the Duma Ecology Committee Vladimir Burmatov said that deputies are considering changing the Code of Administrative Offenses and are proposing to impose a fine of up to 30,000 rubles for a discarded pet. This has been reported DEA News”.

Burmatov added that if a pet bites someone, the fine can be up to 200 thousand rubles, in the absence of a criminal offense.

It was noted that the amendments have already been agreed with the federal executive authorities and may be adopted at the spring session of the State Duma.

Earlier in Yekaterinburg, a doctor came to the phone, bitten pet dog. The woman was moderately injured. The doctor was sure that there were no dogs in the yard, as he had been to this address before and there was no sign on the fence. As he entered the courtyard, a mastiff attacked him.
