Plans to carry out a series of Islamist terrorist attacks over Christmas have emerged in Germany and Austria. The news portal writes about this Focus-online.
An Islamist cell was reportedly planning a series of terrorist attacks in Cologne, Vienna and Madrid. After the terrorists’ plans were revealed, some of the suspects were arrested.
Search dogs were brought to Cologne Cathedral to search for explosives. All visitors to the Christmas service will be screened before entering the building.
