Three radical children were detained by the Spanish National Police after announcing their intention to carry out a terrorist attack. TV channel reports this RTVE.
Two suspects were detained in Madrid and one in Barcelona. The operation began with the analysis of social networks of young people, where they published materials consistent with the radical ideas of the Islamic State (the organization is banned in Russia). Those arrested used their profiles to incite violence in defense of the Islamic religion and praised members of terrorist groups in every possible way.
On Monday, all three detainees were transferred to the juvenile department of the National Court prosecutor’s office. According to information received from the channel’s sources, the head of the Central Juvenile Court ordered that all three be placed in a special detention center.
