German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius admitted that there were delays in the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Quoted by TV channel ZDF.

At the same time, he assured that the defense industry increased its production capacity. Pistorius emphasized that time was needed to build the necessary ammunition stocks.

According to the minister, Germany is the second country that provides the most weapons to Kiev after the USA.

“The problem we are currently experiencing is that the defense industry cannot provide supplies to certain areas at the speed they need. “This applies not only to ammunition, but also to air defense systems,” he said.

According to him, Germany is “doing what it can” and this “also applies to almost all other allies and partners.”
