A DNA test has revealed the fate of a girl who disappeared after her parents were brutally murdered in 1981. Daily Star.
On January 12, 1981, the bodies of 21-year-old Harold Dean Klaus and 17-year-old Tina Gale Klaus were found in the Houston woods.
Harold was found bound and gagged – beaten to death and his wife strangled.
The murderers of the newlyweds were never found. But their younger daughter, Holly, was known to have disappeared without a trace.
More than 40 years later, the girl was found in Oklahoma.
It was learned that little Holly was left at a church in Arizona. He was reportedly brought there by two barefoot women in white robes from a nomadic religious group. The baby was adopted by a local couple.
Now the version of the investigation is that Klaus joined the cult and then became their victim. Relatives of the victims said they had received a call from a sister named Susan to inform them that the couple had joined their religious organization. He added that the substances had left their families and they no longer wanted to be in contact with them.
