The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will allocate money to help other countries solve the problem of water scarcity. This was reported by TASS Referring to the Presidency of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
“The UAE announced $150 million in new financing to address water scarcity,” the statement said.
This money will support water security projects in the most vulnerable countries.
The UAE also contributed $100 million to the World Bank trust fund. The fund finances projects to reduce methane emissions and the associated combustion of petroleum gas.
