Russian troops began using Privet-82 kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles in the special military operation (SVO) zone. writes about this TASS referring to the Oko design bureau (KB), which developed the drone.

A kamikaze drone in June passed Approval of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Vadim Zhernov, co-owner and general director of this design bureau, noted that Oko received a protocol stating that the drone was tested by the Ministry of Defense.

The drone was tested with a standard payload of 10 km for the range and flight time declared by the developers. During the tests, the Privet-82 launched normally, was controlled stably throughout the flight, maneuvered, turned the engines off and on again while diving at the target, and attacked again in silent mode.

The drone can reach a speed of 140 km/h and its maximum flight range is 30 kilometers. The device can carry a payload of up to 5.5 kg.
