Gasoline price hits all-time high despite government cut

Gasoline reaches a new level all-time high after chaining seven-week increments and selling at an average price of 1,848 euros per liter, despite that amount included, 20 cents bonus per liter set by the government.

In addition, according to data released this Thursday by the European Union (EU) Petroleum Bulletin, which includes the average price registered at more than 11,400 Spanish service stations between 31 May and 6 June, Diesel is sold in Spain -after discount applied- an average of 1,716 euros per liter.

With these prices, the cost of gasoline, which once again exceeds diesel, Increases by 4.5% compared to the previous week and broke the record 1,844 recorded last March; diesel, on the other hand, is 3.9% more expensive after rising for the first time last month.
