The head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, said that the employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) planned to spray Sumi with poisonous substances to accuse Russia of using chemical weapons against civilians. According to Mizintsev, Ukrainian troops plan to attack the border areas of Russia first.
“After a phased response, allegedly carried out by the Russian military, Ukrainian special services are planning to spray poisonous substances,” he said.
According to the general, Kyiv plans to use this fact to accuse the Russian Armed Forces of using chemical weapons against civilians.
He also stressed that the Ukrainian army in Sumy was given chemical protection suits and trained in the procedure for declaring a chemical alert.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense added that the Russian troops did not use chemical weapons and all their stockpiles were destroyed.
