“Citizens’ demand for infrastructure for self-realization and sports is increasing every year. Thanks to the Active Citizen portal, it is possible to receive good feedback from city residents and identify their needs. In addition to the usual basketball courts, horizontal bars and exercise equipment, Moscow youth also try themselves in modern sports. Skateboarding, extreme scooters and skates, BMX and MTB bikes are a popular form of sports entertainment and an affordable means of individual mobility,” added Koksharov.
He noted that walking distance to open sports areas provides the opportunity for all city residents to do sports. At the same time, Koksharov explained that the skate parks and pump tracks created by the city cover a wide range of citizens from 2 to 70 years old in these new disciplines, so their availability is an important factor in the development and improvement of mass sports. health of citizens.
“The upcoming World Friendship Games will take place in Moscow and Yekaterinburg in the summer of 2024.
