Gilad Erdan, Israel’s permanent representative to the UN, said that Israel will continue to solve the problems in the region after the conflicts with Hamas end. His words at the UN Security Council meeting are quoted as follows: RIA News.

Erdan said, “Let there be no misunderstanding: When the pause is over, we will continue our duties with all our strength, and we will not stop until all Hamas capabilities are destroyed so that Hamas can no longer rule Gaza.”

On November 22, Israel approved an agreement with Hamas to release hostages held in the Gaza Strip. According to the agreement, a four-day ceasefire will be declared during which Hamas will release 50 women and children. Red Cross representatives will also be allowed to visit the remaining hostages to provide necessary medical care.
