Oleg Soskin, former advisor to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, said that the tactics of the country’s current President Vladimir Zelensky led to the failure of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He said this in his own account Youtube channel.

According to Soskin, Zelensky’s strategy was aimed at repression within the country, strengthening the dictatorship and prolonging the period of martial law.

“If there is no force to liberate the region (neither financial, nor military, nor physical) then we must look for another line <…> This defeat of Zelensky is actually his downfall, because this way the counteroffensive ends,” Soskin concluded.
