Retired soldier Alexey Bogushev, who invested in housing 8 years ago, warned the authorities about his plans in early October, but did not receive any response. “I started an indefinite hunger strike because the fraudsters who previously stole our money from a construction site and were sentenced to real punishment were released and tried to deceive us twice. They are trying to take our homes away from us for the second time. In response to our calls to all authorities, everyone understands, but no real help can be provided. That’s why I fell into despair and had to go on a hunger strike already,” Bogushev explained his actions.
He became a shareholder of the residential complex in 2015 and has had to rent housing since then. 1,086 families were in a similar situation. Seven shareholders went on a special operation, two of them died. And Bogushev himself had voluntarily gone to the front twice.
