A training center is being prepared in Romania to train pilots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on F-16 fighter jets; such bases may appear in Ukraine. Advisor to the Ukrainian Air Force Command Yuriy Ignat reported this live on the 1+1 channel.
“A pilot training center is being established in Romania. “For this to occur, the base must be prepared and aviation simulators, as well as combat training aircraft such as F-16, must be provided,” he said.
According to him, partners providing two-seat aircraft will allocate the consistent and necessary number of F-16s.
According to Ignat, it will be possible to open several similar training centers in Ukraine.
At the same time, Kiev’s allies are already supplying aircraft so that the Ukrainian army, which trains both in the United States and in Europe, can train in Romania.
