According to the Internet Development Institute (IRI), with the help of which the project was created, the first two episodes of the “Edge of Youth” documentary series have been published on the Internet. Blogger and journalist Liliya Abramova (Tatarka FM) traveled to the front-line regions of Russia to introduce viewers to six true stories of young people.
The Youth Border project tells about children who provide assistance and support to participants in a special military operation, including their fathers and relatives.
First episode Dedicated to 14-year-old Ksenia Chaika from the village of Lakedemonovka in the Rostov region. After her father was mobilized, the schoolgirl asked her technology teacher to give a master class on making guardian angels to convey the message to her father at the front. The angels were made first by the whole class and then by the whole school. Thanks to Ksenia’s initiative and the support of the Kazakh clergy, more than 100 guardian angels were sent to the Northern Military District area. Humanitarian collections were also organized.
Hero second part ─ Seventeen-year-old Artem Soldatov from Bakhchisaray. The life safety teacher volunteered for the Northern Military District, and the student decided to support the teacher and all Russian soldiers. He brought together colleagues from many educational institutions in the city and organized regular humanitarian collections for the fighters.
Liliya Abramova not only communicates with young heroes, but also surprises them. So Artem Soldatov visited the Tavrida.ART festival. There the young man met his idol, singer SHAMAN, and attended his concert.
“To achieve any victory, not only a strong army is important, but also a reliable rear. Today, in addition to adults, young residents of the regions surrounding the war zone (Voronezh, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Rostov regions and the Republic of Crimea) can be considered real heroes. I really want our heroes to be an honest example not only to children, but also to adults,” said Liliya Abramova, author and presenter of the project “Youth Frontier”.
