British Home Affairs Minister Suella Braverman said on social media: X (formerly Twitter) about its intention to submit a proposal to the Cabinet of Ministers to legally strengthen the fight against the use of tents by homeless people in public places.

“What I want to stop (and what the law-abiding majority wants us to do) are those who are disrupting and upsetting other people by camping in public places,” Braverman said.

The minister noted that the government supports homeless people, but there should be no tents in public places.
