Three quarters (7,625 or 68.9% of the total) are the result of procedures derived from: urban lease law (LAU), another 2,755 (24.9%) liens; the remaining 692 were due to other causes.
While the discharges arising from execution increased by 8.1% compared to the same quarter of 2021, those arising from the Urban Leasing Law increased by 3.1% and those arising from other reasons increased by 25.6%.
Catalonia is in the lead
Catalonia21.8% of the total with 2,410 transactions, It was the autonomous community with the most launches in the first quarter.then the Commonwealth of Valencia with 1863; Andalusia with 1,858 and Madrid with 1,005.
In terms of evictions due to non-payment of rent, Catalonia ranks first with 1,702, 22.3%, followed by Andalusia with 1,224; Community of Valencia with 1,054 and Madrid with 869; in those arising from liens, the classification is the Commonwealth of Valencia with 741, followed by Andalusia with 508; Catalonia 435 and Murcia 192.
Between January and March, 6,410 foreclosures were opened, 12% less than in the first quarter of 2021, and Andalusia is the community with the largest number of procedures (1,431), 22.3% of the total:
Catalonia is next with 1,251; Community of Valencia with 1,042 and Madrid with 741.
In its note, CGPJ emphasizes that the Valencian Community stands out with a rate of 20.5 if the number of foreclosures per 100,000 inhabitants is relevant; Murcia with 19 points and Andalusia with 16.5 points.
