Lin Xiqiang, Vice President of China’s Manned Space Flight Program Office, spoke about the first crew of the National Space Station. interfax.

“According to the decision taken by headquarters, we will launch Shenzhou-14 at 10:44 on June 5, the crew will include taikonauts Chen Dong, Liu Yang, Cai Jiuzhe. Chen Dong will serve as the ship’s commander,” Lin Xiqiang said.

It is assumed that four taikonauts will be sent into space using the Long March-2F carrier rocket – the launch will be from Jiuquan Space Base in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
