According to the report of the All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergencies (VNII GOChS) of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, bad weather conditions next week may disrupt the life support of the population in 15 regions of Russia. TASS writes about this.

It is predicted that winds with speeds up to 25 m/s and mixed rainfalls of up to 35 mm may cause disruptions in the life support systems of the population. According to experts, this could lead to limited transport links and interruption of power supplies. These situations are in the populated areas of the Far Eastern Federal District (Kamchatka Territory, Magadan Region and Chukotka Autonomous District), the Ural Federal District (Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk Regions), the Volga Federal District (Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Mari-El). may occur. , Perm Territory, Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov region) and the Northwestern Federal District (Novgorod, Leningrad and Pskov regions).

Bad weather conditions may occur in five regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (Primorsky, Transbaikal and Khabarovsk Territories, Amur and Jewish Autonomous Regions) and three regions of the Southern Federal District (Republic of Crimea, Kherson Region, Krasnodar Territory). Natural fires are possible here.

At the same time, freezing is expected to occur on the Lena and Amur rivers, increasing the risk of people and equipment falling under the ice. Similar risks exist in reservoirs in the Murmansk region and in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where stable ice formation has begun.

High river water levels may occur in Kamchatka, leading to flooding in low-lying areas of the Tigil, Penzhinsky and Ust-Bolsherechensky regions. Similar risks due to ice jams exist in the Khabarovsk, Transbaikal and Perm regions and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as well as in the republics of Buryatia and Karelia.

Storms with wave heights of up to six meters are expected to occur in the Sea of ​​Okhotsk and the Sea of ​​Japan between November 2-3, and in the Bering Sea between November 4-5.
