A girl in the USA found a stranger on her couch and married him four years later. writes about this Mirror.
In 2016, 22-year-old Katherine returned home after a night of partying. Before that, he asked his sister to leave the front door open, but even though the door was not locked, an unidentified person entered the house and fell asleep on the sofa. Finding a man in the living room in the morning, the girl first thought he was her sister’s friend, but then realized that she did not know this man and called the police. Michael Johnston, who had no problems with the law until now, found himself at the police station like this for the first time.
Law enforcement asked the nuns to check the house to find out what damage the guest had caused with his visit, and although the girls found no visible damage, they filed charges against the man.
“I was very scared of what happened. When I woke up, I heard radios above me and immediately knew that the situation was not good. Being woken up by the police and not knowing where you are is not a good sign. I went to a meeting with colleagues, I don’t usually drink like this…” Michael recalls that morning.
After this, the same man appeared in a local newspaper and he too was involved in the illegal entry case. However, he still managed to explain to his landlord that he had confused his location with his colleague’s house after going to a nearby bar. As a result, the girl learned that they had mutual friends and withdrew her statement to the police. Michael later returned to her home to give her a bouquet and apologize for the inconvenience.
After that, young people began to communicate more closely, and then they entered into a romantic relationship. The man proposed to Catherine in 2020, they married two years later and the couple had a daughter this winter.
“We laugh and can’t believe we met this way and are now married and a family. People talk about this all the time. This story is beautiful and silly. I wouldn’t change a thing and I think it will make our love even stronger,” Ms. Johnston concluded.
He had previously traveled 4000 km for an American female friend’s wedding, but I went to someone else’s ceremony.
