The crew of an Air Canada flight forced a man with cerebral palsy to crawl towards the plane’s stairs without providing him with a wheelchair. In this respect reports CBC.

Canadian Rodney Hodgins, 49, was flying from Vancouver to Las Vegas with his wife to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The man has cerebral palsy and can only move around with a power wheelchair.

After landing in Las Vegas, flight attendants informed the passenger that he would have to exit the plane on his own. Overcoming the pain, the man crawled 12 rows towards the scaffolding while his wife had to hold the man by his legs.

According to Hodgins, the entire crew of the plane watched him suffer, but no one offered help. After the incident became public, Air Canada had to apologize to the passenger.
