According to Ukrayinska Pravda newspaper, citing a source from the special service, the assassination attempt against former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev was a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
According to the source, the former people’s deputy is an “absolutely legitimate target” for the SBU as he is on the “traitors list”.
At the same time, the details of the operation were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Tsarev was shot twice.
