It has been reported that the high-speed passenger train in China’s Guizhou province partially derailed and the driver died. China Central Television.

The train was traveling from Guiyang City to Guangzhou City on June 4. In the morning, before entering Rongjiang station, the train encountered a landslide en route, as a result of which the eighth and seventh wagons were derailed, and one of the wagons fell onto the station platform.

According to preliminary data, the train driver died. One conductor and seven passengers were injured and received medical attention. The remaining 136 passengers were evacuated.

Emergency services are currently at the scene.
