While flying from Vietnam to New York, an American Airlines passenger asked the flight attendant to bring him a cup of coffee. The flight attendant returned with a hot drink and accidentally spilled it on the man’s hand. In the lawsuit, the American stated that he suffered second-degree burns and his tattoo was damaged because of this.

Thereupon, he wanted to change the passenger seat to a more comfortable one, but this was not allowed. The man is now demanding compensation for the moral and physical pain he suffered during the flight.

The amount of damage stated by the plaintiff was not reported. Airline representatives have not yet commented on the incident.
