State support measures in Russia’s small and medium-sized business sector are really working. This was stated by NexTouch General Director Vladimir Krikushenko after the speech of the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov at the parliamentary sessions in the State Duma. He emphasized that the current measures are very important and are used regularly.

“This year, with the help of SME Corporation, we received a loan of 380 million rubles at a preferential rate of 3%. “This is a really important support element, we will direct it to increase the production capacity of the company,” he said.

Krikushenko also emphasized that Belousov’s speech touched upon an important issue for SMEs – the registration of small innovative companies.

“According to this year’s results, we are now excluded from SME records. That is, we must transition from a medium-sized enterprise to a large one, since the income has already exceeded 2 billion rubles, and it is critical for us not to lose subsidized benefits and interest rates, because the transition period requires, on the contrary, large expenses, taxes and other burdens do not increase,” he said.

According to him, plans to create a specific register of innovative companies that will retain these benefits by the end of the year are an important consideration for innovative companies.

“In general, we evaluate the events very positively. It is also extremely important to have the opportunity for direct dialogue with colleagues,” concluded Krikushenko.

Irina Martirosyan, the winner of the “Entrepreneur Mother” project in the Moscow region, emphasized that entrepreneurs have never felt such interest and support from the state as they do now within the framework of the national project.

“As a young representative of SMEs, the issue of disseminating the national project “Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises and Individual Entrepreneurship Initiatives” is extremely important to me.” “The main directions were laid out very clearly in the parliamentary sessions,” he said.

According to him, expanding access to the list of financial support mechanisms is one of the most important and expected measures. “Fiscal policy is another important issue for me. “We will expect the project to exempt some categories of SMEs from paying VAT,” he added.

Martirosyan also said that at the hearing, Belousov underlined the importance of SMEs’ entry into foreign markets and announced plans to expand REC support tools.
