TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov did the right thing by expelling orientalist and economist Yevgeny Satanovsky from the channel “Soloviev LIVE” for insulting the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. Satanovsky himself thinks so, he reported this “Fontanka”.
“People are not used to the fact that what they do in a country called Russia cannot be defined exactly the way they want it to be. But he was as gentle, polite and extremely civilized as possible. But at the same time, of course, Vladimir Rudolfovich did absolutely the right thing, these are the rules of the game,” said Satanovsky.
The head of the Middle East Institute reminded the publication that in his youth he worked at the Hammer and Sickle metallurgical plant and learned certain words from there. He also noted that he never said a single obscene word “about anyone, especially a lady.”
Satanovsky also complained that the scandal occurred on Solovyov’s 60th birthday and emphasized that it “happened by accident.”
Previously Soloviev he apologized Before the Russian Foreign Ministry and Zakharova for offensive statements by Satanovsky.
