To celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride month, Microsoft has announced a new exclusive Xbox Pride controller with 34 interconnected LGBTQIA+ community flags. It will be available for purchase through the Xbox Design Lab starting June 9 and will be available throughout the year. “Soon LGBTQIA+ players will be able to get a controller that better reflects their identity.” Check out the features of the new Xbox Pride controller below: A limited number of Pride controllers were produced last year and shared with LGBTQIA+ gamers and creators worldwide. Although the receipt of the command was positive, there were many who wanted it to be made available to everyone. Xbox listened to the community and announced the customizable Xbox Pride controller, which brings together 34 community flags to celebrate the intersection and strength of all LGBTQIA+ communities.

But the Pride controller isn’t the only way Xbox is celebrating diversity during Pride Month. There are also other announcements: ‘Tell Me Why’ will be free to download and play throughout the month of June. Dontnod, the studio behind the game, will also donate to Transgender Law Center and Trans Lifeline, two nonprofits that provide resources, support and host livestreams to trans, non-binary and gender queer people. ‘Halo Infinite’ promises in-game content such as a new emblem and nameplate, as well as rainbow colors from the ‘Forza’ series.
