Eight people were detained following the attack on Gambetta High School in Arras, France. This was reported by BFMTV citing a police source.
“There are currently 8 people in custody. The report states that some people, including the attacker, were transferred from Arras to Levallois-Perret (a suburb of Paris – socialbites.ca).
It was noted that the 20-year-old Chechen citizen who attacked the high school refused to testify. He also studied at this high school.
Terrorism prosecutor Jean-François Ricard announced that three people were injured, not two as previously reported.
Before that in France was introduced terrorist threat regime following the attack on the high school. The decision was taken after an emergency meeting of the Security Council chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron.
On October 13, around 11:00 local time (12 Moscow time), an attacker entered an educational institution shouting “Allahu Akbar”.
Previously, residents of Chelyabinsk organized patrols following cases of attacks on children.
