According to the company’s press service reports, Yandex Refueling users transfer 20 million Plus points to fuel at partner gas stations every month.
“For gas stations cooperating with the service, this is an opportunity to sell approximately 400,000 additional liters. “60% of the points spent are from major gas station networks, and the remaining 40% are from independent networks.”
The head of Yandex Gas Stations, Roman Prudnikov, said that currently the Yandex Plus service has more than 12 million subscribers. He explained that Plus subscribers get points as cashback by paying for goods and services in Yandex services.
“At gas stations, users can also get points or, conversely, pay for fuel with them. This allows us to attract an additional audience to partner gas stations. Users have already spent 330 million points since we joined Plus a year and a half ago,” Prudnikov said.
