A student of the National Law University (NSW), named after Yaroslav the Wise in Kharkov, was expelled from the university for allegedly collaborating with the Russian Federation. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian university, in the order signed by the rector of the educational institution Anatoly Hetman.
“In connection with the actions taken (voluntary cooperation with the Russian army and assistance to him), I command: to expel 4th grader Afanasyeva Amina Vitalievna from the university,” the document said.
At present, it is unknown whether more university students will be deported in Ukraine and where similar rules apply.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics.
The decision to run the operation was the reason for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
