A Local Police car ran over three pedestrians on Paseo Sagrera in Palma this morning. One of the 36-year-old victims died, the other two are in critical condition. The police launched an investigation to clarify the causes of the accident.
The incidents occurred at around half past twelve this Thursday morning, when a Local Police vehicle rushed off and crushed three people on Paseo Sagrera, at the height of the Consolat de Mar. They immediately moved to the scene. 061 to help victims.
Toilets confirmed that two of the three injured, a 36-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, were in very serious condition, so after stabilizing them, they were transferred to Son Espases. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, the man who could not overcome the serious injuries he received in the accident died in the hospital where he was taken.
The third victim, a 25-year-old male, was transferred to the Juaneda Clinic.
The Local Police extended their “heartfelt” condolences to the family of the deceased and extended their support to family and friends. They also expressed their support to the relatives and friends of the two people who were injured as a result of the accident.
